Training is a Key Part of Our Culture at AGPROfessionals
Training is an integral part of our culture at AGPROfessionals. We believe a well-informed team is critical to our clients' success in achieving their project goals. Training and learning about our different departments' work also helps build a cohesive team.
Training at AGPROfessionals takes numerous forms, from our one-on-one meetings with team leaders to developing online courses available via our learning management system to our regular Monday morning All-Staff meetings.
Monday Morning All-Staff Meetings
Throughout the year, every department at AGPROfessionals has an opportunity to present information to the rest of the team. The topics are varied, ranging from client experience to planning and permitting processes to real estate and water issues, project design considerations, project management, and much more. These sessions include different types of learning opportunities, from in-house presentations and videos to hands-on learning and bringing in outside speakers. As an example, earlier this last year, our survey team demonstrated their equipment and held an outdoor hands-on experience for the rest of the team.
December 16, 2024 - Monday All-Staff Training with Greg Becker, Fire Marshall, Evans Fire Protection District
We welcomed Fire Marshall, Greg Becker and Fire Chief Joe DeSalvo from the Evans Fire Protection District on Monday, December 16th. Fire Marshall Becker provided our team with an overview of the establishment of fire codes and how they relate to AGPRO projects from a Fire Marshall’s perspective. Over the years, our planning and permitting department has developed a positive and collaborative relationship with local fire departments. Being proactive and staying current on fire codes helps ensure we offer our clients the best solutions while meeting code requirements. This saves our clients time and money and helps keep their projects on budget and schedule.
